Americana UK Contributor
As an avid fan of country music, I chose to album reviews to Americana-UK. I was responsible for writing the reviews on time and to a high standard. I also contact PR representatives for the artists where appropriate.
EN4 Newspaper Editor
As part of my university qualifications, I was an editor for three print publications, two newspapers, and a magazine. It was my responsibility to assign stories to reporters, assisting with editing stories and the design, requesting press releases and organise the running of the publication
STV Runner
For their Edinburgh Fringe Festival programming "The Festival Show" I was a runner, which consisted of getting teas and coffees . I was also responsible for assisting the production team with their behind the scenes footage, and the dismantling of the set
Work Experience The Press and Journal
I done a week's work experience at The Press and Journal where I wrote news articles and attended interviews with the news writers, which allowed me to see the proper runnings of a regional newspaper
Bartender
Throughout my time as a university student I have bartended in various bars across Aberdeen and Edinburgh. I have mainly been responsible for serving customers, cleaning front of house, stocking the bar. In serval places, I have been a senior member of staff and thereby I would assist management with the general runnings.
